Changing Your Name
Some members were not sure what to enter for "name" when signing up. Do you input your personal name or your business name? I guess that depends how you would to be remembered.
Either way the system allows you to go back and customize the name that appears under your picture and links to your page. It's real easy to modify!
Steps to Change Name:
1) Click on the MyPage tab at the top of the page
2) Scroll down to the center area that says Profile info
3) Click the edit button on the upper right hand side of the box
4) Once in Edit Profile page go down to the 3rd line (First and Last Name)
5) Enter what you want to read under your picture

I find it interesting to see people deciding whether to list under their business name or their own name. I thought long and hard about this when I first set up my profile. I decided to use my own name because that is how I meet people. I introduce myself to people by my name. In fact, when networking, the conversation often starts out personal and the introduction of business happens once a relationship is established. And when I send notes or post messages here, I try and use both my name and my business so you can remember me.
If there are a number of people at your company, you may want each of you to be able to sign up so you would each register under your own name. If one of you registers under the company name, that name is taken so no one else can use it. Besides I like being able to great people by a name.
Sometimes your company name is better known than your individual names. And when this is a single person or couple business, you may want to use your business name on the site. And remember, if you have a company email address besides your own, you can register both yourself and your company.

Yes, a rose is not a rose by any other name in business. I utilized my name because I can explain to all what it is I do!
